Vincent Fitzpatrick

Vincent Fitzpatrick received his BA in English from the University of Virginia and his MA and Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. The curator of the H. L. Mencken Collection at Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, he is the compiler of the second supplement to H. L. M.: The Mencken Bibliography (1986), co-author of the Complete Sentence Workout Book (1991), the coeditor of Thirty-five Years of Newspaper Work: A Memoir by H. L. Mencken (1994), and the author of Gerald W. Johnson: From Southern Liberal to National Conscience (2002). He lives in Towson MD with his wife and fellow writer, Carol Fitzpatrick, and their son Michael.
