In October 2000, Emily and Remer Crum announced that they planned to bequeth the sprawling 83-acre Century City Office Park in Atlanta jointly to Mercer University and LaGrange College. The administrations of both schools were thrilled with such a remarkable gift and the future possibilities it presented to both schools. Jaclyn Weldon White is a retired juvenile court administrator who worked in law enforcement for more than twenty years. She is the author of the critically aclaimed bestsellers The Empty Nursery: The Disappearance of Haley Hardwick and Whisper to the Black Candle: Voodoo, Murder, and the Case of Anjette Lyles.
