William H. Brackney, previously at Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, McMaster Divinity College, and Baylor University, is, since 1 July 2006, Distinguished Professor of Christian Theology and Ethics, Faculty of Theology of Acadia University and Acadia Divinity College. He is known internationally for his writings on Baptist history and theology, as recently exemplified in his A Genetic History of Baptist Thought (Mercer, 2004).
Craig A. Evans has taught New Testament for more than twenty-five years. He specializes in the Gospels and historical Jesus research. He is author or editor of more than fifty books and hundreds of scholarly reviews and articles. Professor Evans has given lectures at Cambridge, Oxford, Durham, and Yale, and has appeared in several television documentaries. He lives in Kentville, Nova Scotia, with his wife Ginny; they have two grown daughters and a grandson.
