Bobby L. Lovett

Short Biography: Bobby L. Lovett was born in Memphis (TN), where he received his public school education and completed Booker T. Washington High School. He earned the B.A. at Arkansas A. M. & N. State College (today’s University of Arkansas campus at Pine Bluff), and the M.A., and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He taught in the Memphis Public Schools (1969–1970), Eureka College (1970–1973), and served in administrative and faculty positions at Tennessee State University, where he currently is senior professor of History.More About Bobby L.
